I just got back from my Golden Week travels (part 2).... updates and photos to come shortly.
In my absence, it seems like most of the rice paddies were planted and filled with water... It's gorgeous and green and lush everywhere! I fell asleep last night to the soft patter of raindrops and the croaking of the open-air orchestra of frogs and awoke to the chirping of songbirds!
And yay!!! no mice!

ah spring has sprung! the rice paddy pics are cool. easy to understand where the character comes from. spring is springing here in nyc! woohoo...
