The Shinnenkai party was a little late (end of January), and I'm even later posting pics, but I have been overwhelmed with work during the last few months...
Nabe was exactly the comfort food we needed that cold winter night, and of course it reminded me of the nights in Japan that I shared a great night of warm food with my Japanese friends...
I got to hang out with Melissa (used to live near Miyazu) and now lives in Brooklyn and met a bunch of other former JETs. Beer, sake, and the meat and vegetables never stopped flowing.
Akemashite omedetou gozaiumasu!
